Abstract

The study of the activity of cobalt catalysts Al2O3 additive on a silica gel carrier for the synthesis of C5 + hydrocarbons from CO and H2 Fischer-Tropsch process. It was shown that a promoter may be Al2O3 synthesis process at a pressure of 0.1 and 2.0 MPa. The optimal promoter loading is defined. The features of the microstructure of calcined and reduced catalysts are considered, the adsorption properties were studied by TPD CO. The results of the study of physicochemical properties are compared with data on the activity and selectivity in the synthesis of hydrocarbons with a fixed catalyst bed.

Keywords: synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2; cobalt catalyst properties; promotion, activity.
