Abstract

The isothermal holding temperature has a great influence on the formation of the structure of foam glass materials, which is associated with a change in the viscosity of the glass mass. In this regard, it is important to formulate the general regularities of the resulting porous structure formation model. Synthesis of porous glass materials was carried out by powder technology using a combined glycerol foaming mixture. A theoretical calculation of the viscosity was carried out and a temperature range was described to study the dynamics of foaming. The main stages of foaming of foam glass mixtures were identified, a detailed analysis of the macro- and microstructure of materials and their quantitative parameters in the foaming range was carried out. The relationship between the processing temperature, the viscosity of the glass mass and qualitative changes in the structure of foam glass materials was shown.
